From the Start
Welcome. Here is how the process works.
At first you don’t know what to do. Then you do. That’s the two-part version. Everyone experiences it.
At first it is uncomfortable and it feels difficult. But it is exciting and it feels like it is worth the effort.
As you condition up it starts to feel good. Soon it starts to feel great.
Every time you train you feel strong and flexible and free. Your mind is clear and steady.
This change pervades your life. Things which once would have been intimidating or confusing, you now approach with confidence. Things that would have been difficult or overwhelming are now a matter of applying determination and skill.
You notice that self-defense skills apply to a broader range of threats and challenges than you first imagined. Your skills give you the power to do what you want to do and what you need to do.
As you progress, each season the harvest from practice yields more and more. Maybe “those who have will get more” refers to this.
This path of transformation is open to everyone. It is wide and deep. There is no end to it. Welcome.
It is for you. This is what you are doing.
