Bunkai: Naihanchi Ni, 1-2
This interpretation shows two ways to use the first two counts of Naihanchi Ni.
One version defends against a shove to the wall.
The second version defends against a pin to a wall.
Against the shove you drop into kosa dachi while pinning his attacking arm to you by trapping his arm near his LI 10 point.
Then you knee strike to the groin, and simultaneously hammer fist to the neck and knife-edge foot-strike to his shin.
In the second version, when he is trying to pin you to the wall, you snap and grab his attacking hand, roll away slightly to get your fingers under his knife edge, splitting his fingers if possible, and then rotate toward him to apply a wrist lock as you drop.
As you step and twist, he will bend his knees, drop down and bend forward to release the wrist pressure.
Then you follow up as before, with the knee strike, hammer fist and shin scrape.
